Literacy Volunteers of Broome-Tioga Counties Inc. (LVBTC) invites you to join us as we celebrate National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week (AEFL), with our fourth annual “Family Fun & Literacy Awareness Day” on Saturday, October 19, from 12 to 4 pm at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court Street, Binghamton. This event features Silly Nomads children’s book author Jan Lewis Zelesnikar and a Farm Animals & Furry Friends theme. Animal Adventure, Reading to Therapy Dogs and a Police Dog will visit during the day. Other event activities include literacy and math-related games for children, prizes, raffles, face painting, a caricature artist, crafts and more!
